Cake dough:
200 g Plain flour
½ TSP Salt
50 g Ground almonds
75 g Cold butter, cut into pieces
1 dl Of water
1 TSP Of vinegar
(or ready-made butter cake mix)
Topping:
4 TBSP Crumbs or ground almonds
750 g Plums, halved, stoned
Icing:
1.5 dl Of milk
1 dl Of cream
2 Eggs
2 TBSP Cornflour
3 - 4 TSP Of sugar
1 TSP Vanilla sugar
Powdered sugar for dusting
How to prepare

The dough: Mix the flour, salt and almonds, add the butter and crumble into a crumbly mixture. Add the water and vinegar and work into a dough, do not knead. Wrap in cling film and chill for 30 minutes.

Topping: Roll out the pastry, line the prepared tray and prick the base with a fork. Sprinkle with crumbs or almonds. Place the plums on top.

Make the icing: Mix all the ingredients together and pour over the fruit. Bake in the lower half of the oven preheated to 200°C for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Dust with icing sugar if desired.
Serve with whipped cream.
