The name BOA came about one evening at our house over a good glass of red wine.
Loosely translated from Portuguese, the word "boa" describes something good, beautiful and pleasant. The play on words "Best Of All" stands for the quality of the products from selection and creation to delivery to our customers' homes.
Our ambition, even if we start with somewhat limited possibilities, is to constantly develop.
Meet Martina and Alexandre
Martina and Alexandre live in Basel with their two children. They have their roots in Switzerland and Portugal.
Through their work as shop designers, they share a passion for beautifully shaped and handmade products, which they discover again and again in their home countries. This gave rise to the idea of sharing this love with other people.
Our Vision
We are convinced that a handmade product with high quality lasts a lifetime and accompanies us.
For this reason, we strive to cooperate with manufacturers who produce products with contemporary design in a traditional way.
